are you getting bored of blogging?

yes, not me but Mr Darren Rowse of problogger said that some bloggers might face this issue, getting bored of blogging, yawn and yawn thinking of what to write, which later might lead to quiting from blogging. well i can say there’s a truth to what he said, and even I face the same situation, too. that is why when you check back my entries, I have less entry for the past 2 years while I have more entries posted earlier, frequently and without fail. back then, I always have something to write, be it my college life, personal, blogging world, news and so on.. but now?

how to overcome this? problogger also mentioned few ideas for our consideration which later he called as “blog project“. sound interesting, no? what is blog project then? this include organizing a competition and having some experiment to share with readers. I believe what he said it true and guess what, so happened, due to my boring situation, I myself managed to set up one blog project of mine called ‘malaysiana‘ few days ago by hope that I will overcome the this boring state.

it’s not bad when we have less entry, but it’s not a nice move to quite from blogging.

I dont see the problem when quitting to blog. well, there’s a lot of bloggers out there. unless, if blogging has become a career, then it’s not good to quit. heheh.

the project sounds interesting, by the way. ;)

Don’t worry too much about your post frequency – what really matters afterall is the quality of your posts :) if you have that, no matter how erratic your blogging pattern is, there is always someone there reading and enjoying your entry.

There seems to be a creativity drought taking over the blogosphere lately. A couple of my blogging friends and me are facing some kind of mental block – we’ve ran out of things to write! Usually when I face this kind of problem, I will just take a short hiatus (say, 5 days?) and let the ideas come back to me naturally.

yeah agreed with the drought.. that is also the reason of why i’ve been on and off for a long long time. was thinking of creating another blog just to follow those people, but lol i shall stick to my own way of blogging. after all, personal/life entry attract me most, ya?
