I’ve been so jealous looking at people walking around with own SLR camera, snap here, there and everywhere, and results are cool!
I bought myself Sony T series couple of years ago that cost me nearly 2k and i got awesome pictures too, but why still my friend always had a better picture than mine? I always thought SLR camera is way too expensive that I cant afford to own one. I was wrong. I went to Sony Center week ago, again, just to look around for SLR camera and i found that the starting price for entry-level slr camera is as much as my provious T series, what a silly!
So, with bonus in hand, I managed to grab myslef an slr camera. I tried to bargain for Alfa 300 at first, however I found Sony dont really accept bargain. what, they think they are too good already? not satisfied, I went to other Sony centre and I get same result. funny thing is, they dont have stock for alfa 300 and offer me their display model but never want to give any discount for it. bad. then I walked away to other normal camera shop and managed to get a complete
freebies as I wanted, same price, and better slr camera (for entry-level) which is D60.
Then I bought Digital photography mag by hope that I get to learn more about this stuff, and yes I did. then I surf more
about D60, and starts to compare between one model and another. little regret, now that I wish I knew about slr earlier, so that I can grab an awesome 50D or at least D80, which the price different are not so big.
Anyway, D60 still rocks to me, because it’s my first slr!
