gosh it took me so long to update my blog now! haih, perhaps I’ve spent too much on tv :D ..now that i have a little time i thought i could spend it for my blog yeay! this trip to Melaka was a short trip, really, a short day-trip team bonding session. not much activities, just food along the way. not bad at all when you actually spend more time together, chit-chatting and.. EAT. hehe
our trip started around the afternoon, from our Shah Alam office straight to Melaka.
this trip was actually inspired by our earlier trip to Perak. since none of us has any idea for this team bonding session, so we decided to repeat the food trip, but this time, Melaka..
our first stop was urm, gosh i dont remember the name of the place! haha anyway, the first stop was for the infamous Kuih Udang, I kinda like it, and I guess if you havent taste it, you should try. its not just Kuih Udang inside the plate, but more and of course, a plate of Kuih Udang is served for four :)
more pics after jump!
right after Kuih Udang, we head straight to Melaka City, and yes Jonker Street is the next destination. this is my first time, never knew of Jonker Street previously, but heard of it quite a number of times very recently. being a photography enthusiast, I just love Jonker Street. I believe this is one of a good spot for street photography.
and yes speaking about Jonker Street, you are missing something BIG if you dont try Nyonya Laksa and Sweet Cendol. I simply love both of it! now I knew why some people could simply organize a short trip to Melaka just for Laksa and Cendol. are they expensive? urm, I dont think so. or, you can say I dont know, because I didnt pay for both.. (orang belanja!) :D
looking at those pics, I felt like going back to Melaka.. should organize another trip!
that evening, we dont really go anywhere else. Jonker Street is already located at the city area, where all the main attractions are located too. so we walk to the riverside area for some photos, and a boat ride.. it was fun since there were 11 of us.never get bored. after the boat ride, we head over to Taming Sari tower for a ride too, an interesting ride when you get to see the whole Melaka city from sky view wish I had a tele-zoom lens
it was awhile.. almost eight when we done with all activities. everyone is hungry, again. so the next destination was, you know it. right? haha it’s Muara Umbai, for Ikan Bakar. this is like a trade mark, you should spend sometime for Ikan Bakar here. oh forgot to mention, it was dark, and everyone of us was like, never been to Melaka for quite sometime already, and we ended up.. LOST! haha. lucky, that we managed to reach the place anyway. phew!
that was all, the team decided to dismiss.. but not me and 4 of my friends.. while the rest heading back to Shah Alam, we decided to stay back, for another food, which I was told only available for breakfast.
and do you know what it is? urm, not quite sure of the name, pretty funny to be honest, but it was good.. they called it “Mee Bodo“.. is that for real? LoL
anyway, it was good really, and I will never forget the cook, he got STYLE!
nice, though not so much food this time, but it was good. plan for next trip? urm, not too sure. it’s Ramadhan now, perhaps the next trip will be on November, or could be October..
